It is with deepest sorrow that the Amity Fire Company announces the death of one of our Firefighters in the Line of Duty. Bob Stone passed away following a cardiac emergency after returning from a call on Tuesday evening. Bob's love of photography drew him to the fire service where he captured thousands of photographs. Bob was always there taking pictures of all the activities, calls and functions. His photographs fill this website and stand as a testament to his skill. Our sympathy and condolences go out to his family. As our Company morns we ask that you please keep his family in your prayers.
